Hamilton Heights Middle School Athletics

- On Tuesday, the seventh grade football team traveled to Eastern and was defeated by a score of 28-8. Lucas Schmitt scored the lone touchdown for the Huskies. Khaleb Bandawal improvised on a pass play near the end of the game and found Schmitt for the touchdown. Lucas Schmitt also had an interception on defense. Sam Bowman had a solid game blocking. Bowman also added a two point conversion run after a touchdown. The Huskies wil be back in action next Tuesday when they host Lebanon. - On Tuesday, the eighth grade football team traveled to Eastern and won by a score of 44-12. Jack Butor had an incredible game, totaling 6 touchdowns. Butor ran for five scores and also had a touchdown reception from Cooper Hensley. Butor also had an interception on defense. Landon Inman and Ian Matthew added interceptions on defense as well to lead a strong defensive performance. Drew Champion made several tackles from his corner position. Tyson Pharis did a nice job filling in on the offensive line, and he added a couple of two point conversion catches. Andyn Emery added a two point conversion run as well. The Huskies will be back in action next Tuesday when they host Lebanon.
