VB - Ham. Hts v Maple Crest results 8/26: 7th grade beat Kokomo in two sets: 25-8 and 25-13. Serving was strong and defense was solid. Jordyn Doss led the team with nine aces, followed by Abby Sheller with four aces. Hailey Hodson had 16 aces, Remi Creemens had 7 aces to help the 8th grade overcome a slow start, the team rebounded well. They worked hard for a 2-1 Victory over Kokomo. 20-25, 25-11, 15-7.
