Hamilton Heights Middle School Athletics

Wednesday night the cross country teams competed at Elwood in a 3 way meet that included Frankton. It was a warm evening and the runners came ready to compete and never quit, pushing to the finish line. The ladies started the evening off and finishing in the top 5 were Ingrid Girolamo-3rd and Lexi Placencia-4th. The team finished just behind Frankton for 2nd place. The gentleman came out ready to battle and each of them did that all the way to the finish line. Heights had 4 runners battling for the top 4 spots----Sammy Heuer-1st, Nolan Bender-2nd, Brooks Young-3rd and Austin Tebbe-4th! The boys team finished in 1st place. Even though it was a warm evening the following were able to tie or attain their PR last night: Austin Tebbe, Nolan Bender, Moira Pritsch and Avery Snider. A big congratulations to all runners for persevering to the finish line and battling with whoever you were near!! The teams are back in action Saturday at the Miller Rock invitational at White River Elementary.
