Hamilton Heights Middle School Athletics

The 8th grade girls were victorious over Carmel Clay last night. They won in three sets, rallying back after a tough loss in the second set. The girls never gave up and were determined to take home the win! The victory was a solid team effort all around.  Gabby Blanton led the team with 6 aces, Chesney Millikan had 5 kills, and Addilyn Syrus had 10 assists. The girls are now 4-1 this season with two big wins over rival Hamilton County schools. Go Dawgs! The Hamilton Heights 7th grade volleyball team fought hard at home, ultimately falling 0-2 in a tough matchup against Clay Middle School. Keira Gerlach led the effort behind the service line, racking up 3 aces to keep the Huskies threat alive, while Faith Hammack provided a spark at the net, hammering down 2 kills to anchor the attack. The 7th grade Huskies look to reset and hit the road next Tuesday, September 1, as they travel to take on Frankton.
