Hamilton Heights Middle School Athletics

The 6th grade Lady Huskies took on Mt. Vernon Middle School tonight. The A team came out strong and never let up! In a very aggressive and competitive game, the Huskies battled the entire time and never allowed Mt. Vernon to take the lead. Leading the way was Ayva Cherry with 11 points, followed by Michaela Suarez and Kinsley Bowyer with 9 points each. Final score: 33–29 — great win, Huskies! The B team also started strong, heading into halftime down by just 4 points. They played hard the entire game, but Mt. Vernon’s defense proved tough to break through. Leading the Huskies was Payton Sisson with 6 points and Esmae Dotson with 4 points. Final score: 12–26. Your Lady Huskies are back in action tomorrow night as they travel to Tipton Middle School to take on the Blue Devils. Come out and show your support
