The Huskies faced a tough challenge last night in their A game matchup against HSE, ultimately falling 46–24. Despite the final score, the team delivered one of its best defensive performances of the season, locking in on one of the top players in the county and making every possession difficult. The effort on the defensive end kept the Huskies within striking distance for much of the game, but second-chance points proved costly. HSE’s 19 offensive rebounds created too many extra opportunities for the Huskies to overcome. Offensively, the Huskies were led by Braxton Hilton, who paced the team with 9 points, consistently working to generate scoring chances throughout the night. In the B game, the Huskies opened with a competitive first quarter, keeping pace with HSE in a tight early battle. However, the momentum shifted in the second quarter when HSE put together a decisive 19–4 run, creating separation the Huskies struggled to recover from. HSE continued to build on that lead in the second half and ultimately secured a 48–17 victory. Offensively, the Huskies were led by Bentley Huber and Kingston Dugger.
