Hamilton Heights Middle School Athletics

On Monday night, the 8th grade boys basketball team hosted Noblesville East. The Huskies got off to a sluggish start and trailed 15 - 3 after the first quarter. However, the Dawgs came out to play in the second quarter and held their opponent to only two points in 6 minutes. The home team went on a 17 - 2 run to take a 20 - 17 lead into halftime. The Huskies were not able to sustain their momentum into the second half. The Dawgs struggled to score the ball and were held to 7 points in the entire half. The final score was Noblesville East 36 - Hamilton Heights 27. In the game, Vince Kakasuleff led the team in scoring and played well. In the B game, the Huskies got off to a good start behind a couple of Cooper Ballenger three pointers. Heights had a 21 - 17 lead after two quarters. After intermission, it became the Jace Hilton show. Jace hit four three pointers in the second half to lead the team offensively. The Dawgs played a good game and earned a 43 - 33 victory over Noblesville East. The boys team will be back on the road on Tuesday night to play Carmel Clay.
